14 months of love

This kid is a firecracker!  Have I said that before?  From the moment he wakes to the moment he goes to bed he is mostly all smiles, sweet kisses, occasional "no's", and constantly on the move.  He is starting to eat better (meaning actually eating vegetables), sleeps amazingly and easily and his babbling is starting to sound more like real words (though we still need a translator).  His favorite words are "ball", "dog", "all done", "dada", "ooohhh", "weee", "jump" (pronounced: ump at a high pitched squeal), and "nana" for banana or na-na-na (all said in different tones).  He is also pretty good at signing--he can sign please, ball, all done, drink, milk, eat, more and we have been practicing baby so that when we go visit Mr. Braden he can say baby.  That is really all we have taught him.  We have some flash cards and need to pull those out so he can learn a bit more.  Having those signs though has really been helpful.

On another note.  Edmund has his first pair of Chuck Taylor's.  I am pretty sure every kid needs them, because they are awesome.  It has been super hard to get a good picture because (like mentioned before) he is always on the move.  Here are some pictures though to get you through the next few days.

It rained a lot this week and I am learning first hand that mud is a boys best friend.  He had so much fun tromping through puddles and playing in all the mud!  It was a good day.
Considering he spends 90% of his wake time outside his hair is turning super blonde and he is getting the good Woods tan color.  He is so much fun.  He loves seeing the big boys and giving them high fives....they love seeing him too and returning the five.  Today we were playing outside and a group of my favorite guys were coming to dinner from the gym.  They all said Edmund and almost in unison said "hey Eddd!"--he turned, smiled and ran towards them and gave them all high fives.  IT WAS AWESOME.  He was smiling and they were as well.  So cool.    So cool.  I love this face.
