Since watching the Olympics (essentially in its totality) I've come to ask a lot of questions and make observations about the event. I'll will proceed to list my observations and questions and if you have answers or thoughts, please let me know.
- How the crap does curling work. I thought I had it figured out the other day, but as it turned out I was wrong.
- With all of todays technologies, why do short track speed skaters wear such 1980s era bike helmets?
- Has anyone else noticed that the short track speed skating men are a scruffy bunch of individuals
- Ice Dancing. Really, a sport? Are these the people that routinely failed to land a triple axel/toe loop/etc. (all the jumps really look the same to me anyways) and therefore settled on ice dancing
- If cheerleaders are dancers gone stupid, then what are ice dancers?
- Did anyone else see Johnny Weir carrying a purse?
- Bob Costas--what do you do the two years between olympics?
- I've decided that Edmund can be anything he wants to be...other than a luger, skeleton racer, figure skater, freestyle ariel skier, and ice dancer
- Cross Country Skiers are officially my new athletic heros. I am still blown away by how fast they go--seriously--its tough to go that fast on such pencil thin skis.
- Why does the Olympics have snowboard-cross and not skier-cross AND why is there no half pipe for the skiers?
- Ski jumping--I need a physics lesson on how that crazy swiss dude always jumps so far
- I wish the internet/ESPN wouldn't publish winners and losers prior to the event being shown on tv in America
- I could actually watch cross country skiing all day. These people are amazing. Seriously.
I have a baby waking up, so that is all for this post. To see pictures of said baby go here
